The Club Mom is so excited to partner and help promote The Cincinnati ReelAbilities Film Festival, organized by Living Arrangements for the Developmentally Disabled (LADD) and presented by Macy’s!
Cincinnati icon Drew Lachey of Dancing with the Stars and 98 Degrees (I know a lot of you Momma’s were 98 Degrees Fans!) will emcee the Festival’s Mingle With The Stars Gala alongside Q102’s Jenn Jordan and actor John Lawson.
The event will be 6:30 pm on Saturday, February 28 at the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati.
Organized by Living Arrangements for the Developmentally Disabled (LADD), the Cincinnati ReelAbilities Film Festival presented by Macy’s will run February 27 through March 7, 2015; with the unique purpose of bringing people together to explore differences and our shared humanity. Thousands are expected to participate in world class film screenings, speaking and other events, as well as Premiere Weekend festivities. All of the films celebrate the lives and stories of people who experience disability.
About the Mingle with the Stars Gala
Part of the Festival’s Kick Off Premiere Weekend Celebrations, the Mingle with the Stars Gala and After Party will include VIP special guests – actors Danny Woodburn, Daryl Chill Mitchell, and Kurt Yaeger; Cincinnati Reds’ Teddy Kremer; SFC Michael Schlitz (Gary Sinise Foundation); Michigan Supreme Court Justice Richard Bernstein; Former Snowboarding Champion featured in the film The Crash Reel, Kevin Pearce and more. Actor Kurt Yaeger will host the After Party with music by Cincinnati’s hottest band, the Soul Pocket Band.
Cost is $150 for the Gala and After Party, or $35 for just the After Party.

About the ReelAbilities Film Festival
The ReelAbilities Film Festival was founded in 2007 in New York City and has spread to 12 cities across the US. Cincinnati was the first city in the nation to host the festival outside of New York and now hosts the second largest festival nationwide, second only to New York. In 2014, the festival’s national headquarters moved to Cincinnati where it is being managed by LADD, Inc.
Juried films to be screened celebrate the lives, stories and art of people who experience disability. The films are wide ranging and touch on issues and topics such as autism, mental health and returning veterans and all of the film screenings benefit local nonprofit organizations that enhance the lives of people with disabilities.
