My 8 year old daughter’s favorite movie is Hotel Transylvania! She was dying to go see the sequel as soon as she heard it was coming out! We were invited to the premier this past Saturday!! So we went in between soccer games! She loved the movie! I thought it was really cute! We give it 2 thumbs up!!
We got to see in it 3D which was really cool! Since the main characters are Vampire/Bats there is a lot of flying and cool 3D effects! The movie will be in theaters this weekend! Opening night is Friday, September 25th!
Side note: It was just me and my eight year old. My 6 year old scares easily and at one point I remember thinking – not sure Austin would have liked this. It is Halloween themed with vampires/bats and monsters. I thought it was really cute – but in a dark theater with a child that scares easily it might be good to wait for the DVD. The only reason he didn’t go with us is because he had a soccer game. Ava couldn’t wait to see it!!! So I think depends on the kid more so than the age for this one.
What is the movie about:
Count Dracula is going to be a Grandpire! His daughter is pregnant! Instead of freaking out, like he did in the first movie, Drac seems to be taking to this grandparenting thing… except for the “learning to fly” lesson. That almost backfired horribly!!
