Let your Light Shine at the Louisville/Cincinnati Lantern Fest! +GIVEAWAY!

At The Lantern Fest, thousands join together armed with lanterns for one unforgettable spectacle. There will be music, dancing, s’mores and, when the time is just right, you will light the sky with our highest hopes, deepest regrets, and fondest dreams.  Sounds very therapeutic and healing to me!

Historically lanterns were used to symbolize good fortune, request favorable weather, or to celebrate the life of a loved one, just to name a few.

Your Families and friends can dance to the music, roast marshmallows, munch on snacks provided by local vendors, and of course, watch the lanterns float away in an unforgettable release.

Each registrant will receive their own lantern as well as some other goodies.

Several different states participate in The Lantern Fest!  Here is the link to  register for the one at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, KY on October 10th.

Gates open at 3pm and they have several activities for kids including: face-painting, balloon twisters, live music, princesses, marshmallow roasting for s’mores, stage show and various competitions. When the sun goes down each participant releases a beautiful lantern and you will see thousands in the sky… how gorgeous?!

These lanterns are 100% biodegradable. Not to mention after each release they have professional “Lantern Chasers” experts collect 90% of the lanterns after the event.
