I can’t wait to see this Classic Christmas Story LIVE! A story with a great message and one I can’t wait to share with my children! It’s Christmas season, and Charlie Brown is depressed. He confides in Linus this fact, citing his dismay with the over-commercialization of Christmas and his inability to grasp what Christmas is all about.

Produced by Lee Mendelson and directed by Bill Melendez, the program made its debut on CBS on December 9, 1965.
