The Headache of Car Shopping

Sponsored Post

We have decided to start “looking” for a new or used SUV/Truck.  What a excruciating process this can be!  I can’t believe how expensive cars are!

I have found, most of the time, for a little more you can get better deals and warranties on new vehicles.

In our search,  Cars.com has been a great resource to learn about your potential purchase. Their website has a huge selection of information that will provide you with everything you need to make an informed purchase. I love their Videos & Reviews feature.

I have also learned is the online process is much easier!  Online, you can pretty much negotiate and contact several dealers at once.  Warning:  you will get SEVERAL emails, daily from each dealer.  You can even have them appraise your trade in virtually as well! Once you have it narrowed down to a couple of vehicles and the price you are comfortable with then you go in and test drive, this makes it less stressful for everyone, since most of the negotiating on price has been done upfront.

It’s crazy to me to spend, basically, what most people have paid for their first house, on a car!  Once you have the new, shiny, beautiful car, the hardest part is keeping the kids from destroying it!  I thought this was a good article with pointers on, “How to keep the family car from getting kid cruddy”!
