THE CHALLENGER INTERNATIONAL SOCCER CAMP – Review

The second week of August, Austin and his buddy, attended the Challenger International Soccer Camp, at Livingston Park in Indian Hill.  We chose an evening camp this year to beat the heat.  It was a really nice park!  Every year, I jump at the opportunity to send Austin to the Challenger Soccer Camps.  He has a great time each year and always comes away with new skills!

This is even more important to me now that we have Austin on a competitive soccer team.  I want to keep him active, practicing, and building new skills during the off season.

Camp

This year we decided to try the all new Challenger International Soccer Camp which offers programs for each age/ability level.

The TinyTykes program will provide 3-5 year olds with fundamental soccer activities, games, and stories, designed to develop technical skills along with physical and social development.

The Half Day Camp for 6-16 year olds is our most popular program and will provide 3 hours of world class skill development, challenges, and games each day.

All campers receive the new virtual coaching app for extra practice and coaching at home and throughout the season!

LEARN MORE ABOUT THIS CAMP

I like that this camp provides your child with the rare opportunity to receive high-level soccer coaching from a team of international expert’s.

I appreciate the way the coaches focus on fun and turn skill development into a game. This allows Austin to have a new/exciting experience while developing new skills and practicing learned skills.

At the end of the week his coach, Kieran, sent home certificates with a written note and “graded” them on the items they excelled, developed, and improved in. Getting this type of written feedback is good for the young players to reflect on areas they are doing well and where they can improve. Confidence building is Key at this age of soccer players!

Another thing I love about this camp – if you register by a certain date (pre-register) you get a FREE jersey (like the one they are wearing above), soccer ball (also pictured below), and a t-shirt!!
