The Club Mom is very proud to be partnering with The Cure Starts Now and Graeter’s to team up once again this September in their annual Cones for the Cure campaign. The campaign will take place September 10-20 at participating Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, and Chicago Graeter’s locations to help spread the word about The Cure Starts Now and its mission to find the “homerun cure” for all cancers by focusing on pediatric brain cancer.
The social media photo contest starts today!
New to the 2015 campaign is a fun social media photo contest where ice cream lovers can get creative and show their love for Graeter’s ice cream. This contest is designed to be a friendly competition between family and friends to demonstrate who has the most love for Graeter’s ice cream. The photo contest is a fun event for all ages. All you need is a cone, cup or pint of Graeter’s ice cream, a camera and a unique idea. Facebook users, simply “like” the “Cones for the Cure” Facebook page and upload your unique photo to be in the running to win the ultimate grand prize of free “Graeter’s for a Year”. Be sure to use #conesforthecure when sharing your photos on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Here’s how it works:
- Like the “Cones for the Cure” Facebook page and upload a picture of yourself posing with your Graeter’s ice cream to the Facebook page between 9/10/15-9/20/15 (pictures of questionable nature will not be eligible for the contest). You can also tweet your photos and share them on Instagram.
- All photos must use #conesforthecure to be considered.
- Pictures are the property of The Cure Starts Now and all sponsors and may be reproduced or used without permission or payment of any kind.
- Have fun! The more entertaining you are the better chance you have of being mentioned on air by our media sponsors.
- The top 5 photos will be selected by WLWT and 96 Rock by 9/21/15 for final voting by followers of “Cones for the Cure” Facebook site. The picture with the most “likes” wins. The grand prize winner will receive “Graeter’s for a Year” ($520 in Graeter’s gift cards) courtesy of Graeter’s. The winner will be announced on 10/1/15 on the Cones for the Cure Facebook page.
Official Contest Rules:
Contest open to all individuals 18 years of age or older with a valid Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois or Indiana driver’s license. Employees of The Cure Starts Now and Graeter’s Manufacturing Company as well as their affiliated entities, affiliated advertising agencies and participating sponsors/promotional partners and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win. To enter online, one internet entry per person and one internet entry per e-mail address. Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the e-mail address by an internet access provider, on line service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. One winner will receive prize of a Graeter’s Gift Certificates of $10 per week for a year ($520 total in gift certificates). Prizes are not assignable or transferable. Prizes may not be substituted or redeemed for cash. Any prize or prize certificate not claimed within 14 business days of winning will be forfeited by the winner. In the event that a prize or a prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with prior written consent of the winner and, therefore, the winner assumes the risk of its arrival. The Cure Starts Now is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate. Decision of contest management with respect to the contest are final. One winner will be selected from all entries received. The selection of the winner will take place on the next business day following end of contest date specified on contest banner. The winner will be notified by phone and/or email. If winner cannot be contacted with in (10) ten business days after prize is awarded, an alternate winner will be selected. Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner. Contestants will agree to hold The Cure Starts Now and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest. The Cure Starts Now reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize of equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.
