Ava celebrated her first communion last year! I know a lot of families prepping for First Communion this year!
I wanted to share with you who I used!
I ordered her Custom headpiece and veil from Lace and Grace Veils.
Notice the detail, I sent her a picture of Ava’s dress and Eileen matched the veil to the pearl detail on the top of her dress perfectly. She also put pearls in the actual veil itself. Thanks to her Aunt Kelly for coming over and fixing her hair in the early hours of the morning with a newborn! It is hard to find a salon open early on a Sunday!

Invitations
I wanted something pretty and different! I came across wasootch on Etsy. Ava and I fell in love with the Gerber Daisy invite! Shannon, the shop owner was very quick to respond and very easy to work with! The quality of her cards are amazing. I love how vibrant the colors are!
Check out our end result! (I removed personal address details for privacy of course.)

Cookies & Cake
I personally know Trica THE Dessert Fairy in Loveland. I told her I wanted Challices and Crosses and this is what she came up with! She does an amazing job! The cookies are not only beautiful they taste really good too!! I am now known as the lady who serves the really good cookies at her parties! LOL!
I love the citrus and the almond flavors!
I love cupcake cakes… they are so much easier to serve with large crowds of people. I asked Tricia to make me a cross cupcake cake and this is what she came up with! It was gorgous! And SOOO GOOD!!!
Nails
It was such a special day for Ava (and for me). As you can tell, she looked and felt like a princess! We did a lot of prepping spiritually through school, church, and with her ERE class for this day. We took time for us and got our nails done (another thing I love about having a little girl)! She got crosses on her ring fingers (her idea). She loved them! They did look great! So with all the preperation just remember to take some quality time together. We went to Lovely Nails in Loveland.
Other Items
I got her bracelet at the doller bins at Target. I got her shoes at Payless. Her dress was her flower girl dress from her Aunt Kelly and Uncle Nick’s wedding 2 years before, we got it at Fabulous Bridal in Covington, KY! Her Grandma Boehmer took off the Navey Blue Sash it had and replaced with with a fancy (white) flower petal detailed sash which matched the flowers on her shoes.
Thank you cards
I loved her Thank you Cards! We are blessed to be surrounded with great family and friends who love our children.
I ordered her cards through Kendyll Raes. Tracy was a dream to work with. She did several mock ups for me and is fast and professional. The quality of her cards are amazing!
